 BBYC Labour day Regatta was challenging and exciting. PRO Rod Wark did an outstanding job in maximising opportunity in such variable weather patterns. BZ
Saturday PCA did two races, winds < = 5 knots. Sunday winds ditto except for torrential thunderstorm and winds > 30 kts followed by calm and passage of time, hence no race.
Forecast winds for Monday for 25-35 came true.. Instead of distance race, they did 3 W/L in these strong gusty winds which varied between 25 and 35 Kts. Sailmakers bill for Monday - one blown out mainsail, three chutes, and two jibs.
