DYC OPENING REGATTA 6, 7 June 2009
Dartmouth Opening Regatta 5 - 7 June included a 100 mile Offshore Race. This attracted 5 PCA and A class yachts. The results should be on the DYC website.
Two days of round the buoys racing on Saturday and Sunday were held for all classes. Unortunately, there were not enough PCA boats to make a class, so the PCA and A class were combined. Climax finishesd first, Trouble second and Third Wave third. This race did not count as a season championship event due to the small number of PCA participants..
RNSYS OPENING REGATTA 23-24 MAY 2009 Climax wins RNSYS Opening regatta in a close fought competition between 7 yachts, (5 PCA Members) Third Wave came second - 1 point behind Climax. Juice (J 109) was third. The rain held off until after the finish the last race, when racers took shelter below, and yarned over the race highlights .
